GLEN I've been cleaning up a JX-17 I've had for about 30
SP-600-JX-17 years in preparation for sale. It hadn't been powered
S/N 17598 up for the past 20 years but, surprise, it still works
on all bands

SP600-JX21 additional sticker says it has been modified for
S/N 19960 HFO,IFO,BFO. The top three bands do not work
due to the modifications. T9 was heavily modified
and I am trying to return it to orginal working
condition.
RUSSELL/KE4PTM In original cabinet, clean. Doesn't need black caps

JOHNATHAN I have replaced most of the caps already, but I have an
N8QPC an agc problem. I don't have a schematic for the 26
SP600JX-26 though. This makes it tough. If anyone has a
S/N 11963 schematic that they are willing to share please email

/W4PG Completely recapped,great sensitivity - at 4 microvolts
SP600-JX-26 gets 25-30 db SNR. Still some cosmetic work to be
S/N 12896 done.
John McNiel/W6FCS Has square orange stamp on top of RF deck
SP-600-JX-26 containing eagle holding branches. Bought as a
Serial # 13079 junker, but looked to good, so fixed her up a little.
Looks and works great. Need cabinet and the 2 big
original knobs for band swt and tuning
