ANDREW In 1959, I purchased this radio. Before I went
SP-600-JX-17 off to college. I crated it. I've moved about 6
S/N 10076 times since, always taking that crate with me.
Now, at age 59, I recently uncrated and
cleaned her up, and constructed a case fo it,
so I could put in in my living room. It's in very
good condition and working great. Near the ID
plate, it has a stamped red ink log 'SAC',
which I take to mean Strategic Air Command.
What a radio!

S/N 54525186 throughout. Works great.

JOHNATHAN I have replaced most of the caps already, but I
N8QPC have an an agc problem. I don't have a schematic
SP-600JX-26 for the 26 though. This makes it tough. If anyone
S/N 11963 has a schematic that they are willing to share

W4PG Completely recapped,great sensitivity - at 4
SP-600-JX-26 microvolts gets 25-30 db SNR. Still some
S/N 12896 cosmetic work to be done.
John McNiel/W6FCS Has square orange stamp on top of RF deck
SP-600-JX-26 containing eagle holding branches. Bought as a
Serial # 13079 junker, but looked to good, so fixed her up a little.
Looks and works great. Need cabinet and the 2
big original knobs and knob for band switch.
Charles/K4GK Is in excellent condition except for the cabinet
SP-600-JX-26 which could use a little paint, The hex wrenches
Serial # 13396 are there, except of one is missing. The receiver
works great. I use it for broadcast band / AM
where it's performance is super.

SP-600-JX?? Ten years in my hands this special edition for ISB
S/N 650611 mode, modified by ITT. No inside reference plate.
Note: additional sticker in the front it has modified
"ITT World Communications Inc". Radio receiver
type "CNY-2061D". Works great, front panel and
knobs good shape original case and recapped yet.
